No-host dinner and talk on a science topic of current interest organized by the Honolulu Academy of Science.
“Cosmic Rays: Messengers from Space,” by Dr. Veronica Bindi, associate professor of physics at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and a project associate at the CERN particle physics laboeratory. Her research interests focus on experimental and astro particle physics.
Dinner is at 6 p.m. (BYOB - Tamara’s is across the street); the talk begins at 7 p.m. ARCS Foundation Honolulu Chapter is a co-sponsor for Science Cafe, which is held on the third Tuesday of the month through the academic year. More Information.
