Honolulu Chapter President Cheryl Ernst, fourth from left, was among the guests at recent the University of Hawai‘i Foundation Scholarship Celebration bringing donors together with the University of Hawai‘i students who benefit from their gifts.

The theme for the evening was on the sciences, with both student and faculty speakers talking about the importance of scholarships and awards in giving them confidence as well as funding to continue their studies.

The Honolulu Chapter has provided more than $2million in ARCS Scholar Awards to UH Manoa students in seven schools and colleges.
