ARCS Honolulu Chapter hosts Dr. Randy Kosaki in a discussion of Deep Coral Reefs: New Frontiers for Exploration in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Dr Kosaki is deputy superintendent and former research coordinator for the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument. He holds an MS and PhD in zoology from UH Mānoa and has studied behavioral ecology and biogeography of coral reef fishes. In his free time, he enjoys photographing fishes, catching fishes, cooking fishes, and reading about fishes.
The event is free and open to the public. Pupus and wine served at 5:30 p.m., followed by talk at 6 p.m.
